Covid-19 Updates & Protocols
Somerset Yacht Charters has always been committed to the safety of its guests and crew, and we are taking the following measures to make sure we don’t transmit or receive COVID-19 while operating our charters.
What we are doing prior to and during your visit
- Thoroughly sanitizing every surface
- Testing crew weekly
- Fully ventilating yacht between guests
- Practicing safe and responsible behavior in our personal lives to minimize risks
- Wearing masks and sanitizing hands when preparing food or serving guests
What we require from our guests

Certify that all members of your party are free from cough/cold symptoms including but not limited to high temperatures, loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath, etc., and haven’t been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to your charter

Be willing to submit to temperature checks with an infrared thermometer

Sanitize hands before boarding

Wear masks while transiting through the pilot house or going below to use the restroom

Refrain from entering the crew area or the cabins

Keep appropriate distance from the crew and wear masks while in proximity with the crew when distance is unavoidable.

In short, behave similarly on board as you would when visiting a restaurant under COVID-19 restrictions
Notes
In keeping with similar charter boat regulations, we will be limiting our capacity to 50% to maintain appropriate social distancing until further notice.
